Whether you are just starting out or you have been playing fighting games for ages and you have hit a plateau, everyone has asked themselves this question at one time or another. Just how the hell am I supposed to be training to get good at this game? The fact of the matter is that there are ALOT of people that have no idea how to train or what they should be doing to improve their game. They spend countless hours playing ranked matches or going to arcades and they simply don't get better or they improve for a short time and then their growth sort of flat lines.
It's simple really. Getting the most of your training isn't just about logging in the time. It's about honing in on problem areas of your game as well as developing awareness about different game concepts. You need to set clear cut goals to work towards if you want to see results.
